About Us
Our founder, Karl Braunsteiner, is a Master Watchmaker from Austria who established the business in 1983, with a focus on repair and restoration - with a particular focus on vintage and pocket watches. Since then, we have expanded our services to include buying and selling second-hand watches, as well as importing and servicing the award-winning NOMOS watches, the largest manufacturer of mechanical timepieces in Germany.
As an authorized service center for Audemars Piguet, Girard Perregaux, Ulysse Nardin, Maurice Lacroix, and NOMOS. we take great pride in offering the highest level of expertise and attention to detail in all our watch repairs and restorations. Whether it's a minor adjustment or a full restoration of a treasured timepiece, our team treats each job with the same dedication and care, ensuring that your watch is returned to its former glory.

I contacted Master Watchmaking initially through Facebook, sparked by an update to their stock of a few Nomos pieces. I've been a huge Nomos fan for years and was finally ready to pull the trigger on a Club. I dealt with Louella, who was great at communicating (MW is based in Sydney, I'm in Perth). Initial inquiry was on a Thursday (if I recall correctly) and my watch was on my wrist the following Tuesday. Really pleased with the service that I received and hope this will turn in to a long standing relationship.

Contact UsAll second-hand and vintage watches come with our personal 1 year warranty. New NOMOS watches come with an international 2 year warranty. Warranties do not cover accidental damage or general wear and tear.
Online orders can only be made for delivery to Australian addresses. We provide free shipping for orders over $150: if your order is less than that amount, shipping is $15. We send goods by overnight courier or registered mail: you will be required to sign for the parcel. In most cases, we will dispatch the goods within 2 working days of payment having been received.
We will advise you by email when your order has been dispatched.
New Zealand customers: please contact us by email for a non-GST price, and shipping costs.
All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST. Prices are subject to change without notice. At present, payment can be made by direct deposit into our bank account, or secure credit card transaction online using visa, mastercard, Amex and Paypal.
Overseas customers and travellers can claim back the GST amount at the airport. You will receive a refund of 1/11th of the purchase price.
Please choose carefully: we do not offer refunds for a change of mind.
