Karl Braunsteiner, a Master Watchmaker from Austria, is the man behind MASTER WATCHMAKING. He started the business in 1983, repairing all kinds of watches, especially vintage and pocket watches, and also buying and selling second-hand watches. In 2006, after visiting the NOMOS factory in Glashuette, Germany, he began importing NOMOS watches to sell in Australia.
In 2009, Master Watchmaking became the Authorised Service Centre for Australia for Audemars Piguet, followed by Chopard in 2012, Maurice Lacroix in 2015, and Girard-Perregaux in 2019. Over the past 35 years, the business has gone from strength to strength, and today has a reputation as one of the leading restoration workshops in Australia.
